Our study on BIM 6D, the sixth dimension of Building Information Modeling, linked to sustainability, involves the analysis of the carbon footprint from the project’s conception to the end of its life cycle, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Over the last few years, we have also worked on large dam decommissioning projects and the redefinition of degraded areas, in which more than 10,000,000 m³ of material have been moved, surface area regulation services and rainwater drainage have been completed.
This is a fundamental part of our long-term business vision and our responsibility towards the environment: we offer engineering services that contribute to the energy transition and decarbonization through intelligent and sustainable solutions applied to the projects in which we work.
Recognizing schools as important spaces for inclusion and social transformation, in 2015 our company created Maratona da Leitura (“Reading Marathon”), a socio-educational project that serves children and teenagers in the public school system. Through this project, various activities are proposed to encourage reading, lectures, cultural excursions and complementary actions to provide access to culture, in addition to the publication of books written and illustrated by the students assisted.
The seriousness and success of the project earned Reta, in 2017, the CBIC Social Responsibility Award, held by the Social Action and Citizenship Forum of the Brazilian Chamber of the Construction Industry (CBIC), with the aim of strengthening and encouraging the development of socially responsible actions in the sector.
In addition to this important project of created and managed by Reta, in 2024, the company is also sponsoring a project through tax incentives, “Poesia Incrível”. In line with the objective of democratizing access to reading and encouraging literary production, three poets from Minas Gerais are selected to have their works published in print and in e-book format.
The project also includes cash prizes for the selected authors and a launch event, with a book signing and performance by local artists. 3,000 books are published and distributed free of charge, and storytelling sessions are held in public schools in the cities where the selected poets live, as a sociocultural contribution.

Aiming to consolidate what was already part of our corporate culture, in 2017, the Guaranteed Integrity Program was created which, through a solid Compliance system, allows the creation of new monitoring structures and strengthening its values and ethical principles with stakeholders.
